Check this out! I have peanut butter in #10 cans, but the chocolate peanut butter sounds good. I'll bet it tastes like Nutella.

Peanut butter is a fantastic storage food. Keeps a long time, has lots of protein, and can be a "comfort food" for many people.
The downside is that many people (my wife for instance) are allergic to
peanuts.
I would like to have a 1 yr supply of Reeses cups but i eat them as fast as i get them:l0 (53):

It's a great storage item, but I'm tired of rotating it. Hubby goes on binges of eating it and then he burns out on it. So I'm going the dehydrated route. Already have #10 cans of regular peanut butter, but am ordering a 12-pk each of the PB and Choc PB from this place in November. Each jar makes 18 oz of rehydrated PB. Ok - maybe I'll order 2 12-packs of each. ha ha ha
Oooh - that reminds me. Almost time for my November Prep Goals thread!! :l0 (53):
I have a Top Secret Recipe for Reeses Cups - want me to get it for you? Then you can stock all the ingredients!! :biggrin5:
I want AT LEAST a 1-year supply of Almond Joy, but have the same problem. I'm opening the bag before I even get out of the grocery store parking lot. :o16:

I'm a minimalist. Almond Joy = a hand full of sweetened coconut, a handful of chocolate chips, your choice of milk or semi-sweet, a hand full of almonds. Store a years worth of each and you have a years worth of Almond Joy.
