Tonight we are expecting 33° and again on Wed night, after that should be in the 40's for another 10 days. We will cover our plants tonight and Wed and see how they do. But just in case, I brought in the most sensitive of the plants or anything that was ready.
Radishes, zucchini, eggplant, Swiss chard, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, green beans and collards.

We have been harvesting from our community garden, but there are things growing still and we aren't predicted to have freezing temperatures yet. But we have had to turn off the automatic watering system because we have passed the historical first frost date for our area. Hand watering is no fun.

I didn't put in a garden this year, but we did get about 50 pounds of apples from our two trees. Cool. :thumbup1:

As of today, beans, peppers, Swiss chard, broccoli and tomatoes are all taken care of: frozen, dried or canned. Tomorrow, eggplant, zucchini and collards. The radishes will go into cold storage.
