Maybe we need a section for great deals. (I thought we did, but maybe I'm imaging things. :skep: Wouldn't be the first time. :out:) I've found several Amazon deals that are really good for food storage.

First, the free Ebooks:
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009GMNIZ2/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B009GMNIZ2&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">50 Shades Of Kale: Delicious & Nutritious Kale Recipes - How To Cook Kale Salad, Kale Chips, Kale Soup</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B009GMNIZ2" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> Just in time--I have two laundry baskets of collards that need to be used. (Collards are a close cousin to kale and so are interchangeable in recipes. I posted about it here: http://www.providenthomecompanion.com/wonderful-kale/)
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0057H14KG/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0057H14KG&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">JeBouffe Home Canning Step by Step Guide (second edition) Revised and Expanded</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0057H14KG" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007R6D2YG/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B007R6D2YG&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">How To Forage For Free Food - Let's Get Foraging (Foraging Free Food Series)</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B007R6D2YG" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009I5RTFM/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B009I5RTFM&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">How to Design a Small Garden - Step-by-Step Landscaping Ideas, Pictures and Plans for Planning the Perfect Small Garden (How to Plan Your Garden Series))</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B009I5RTFM" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0084APA94/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0084APA94&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">Home Vegetable Gardening -a Complete and Practical Guide to the Planting and Care of All Vegetables, Fruits and Berries Worth Growing for Home Use</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0084APA94" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

If you don't have a Kindle or compatible Ereader, don't worry. You can download a free Kindle reader onto your PC or Mac.

And then there are these deals:
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037KMI0U/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0037KMI0U&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">Tide Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent , 50 Fl Oz, 2 Count</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0037KMI0U" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> You can make this an even better deal by click "Special Offers Available" just below the price--that gives you a $1 off coupon.
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007UZNR1W/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B007UZNR1W&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">Quilted Northern Soft and Strong, Double Rolls, 36 Count</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B007UZNR1W" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> That's .69/roll PLUS you can get a $1 off coupon by clicking the "Special Offers" link. Both the Tide and the paper towels qualify for free shipping.

Typically these deals only last a few days, so don't wait.

If I find any more deals I'll try to post them.

How interested are you in the free ebooks? Everyday there are new free ebooks--typically the offer is only for 3-4 days. A lot of them are short little 35-60 pg books that I would probably not buy (except for Dolcezza's book on Frugal Living which was free and I DO have a hard copy of that. ) but they contain a few helpful tips and information, so for me they are worth downloading when they are free.

Here's another free Ebook:
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00609YAYC/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00609YAYC&linkCode=as2&tag=provhomecomp-20">Weekend Homesteader: November</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=provhomecomp-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00609YAYC" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

A couple weeks ago the Homesteader September edition was free. Some of her material may be old news for the prepper pros on this board. But there is always a gem or two and when it's free, you can hardly pass it up. These free deals are typically are only offered for 3-4 days.
