The Cuisinart beats out Kitchen Aid hands down. Even it's smaller bowl is larger than Kitchen Aid's biggest bowl. The motor is almost 2X as powerful and the Cuisinart warranty is 5 yrs vs Kitchen Aid's 1 yr. I have the 7 qt model which lets me make 5 loaves of bread at a time. It's a workhorse. If you've been thinking of getting a mixer, look at this one.
