Dear Latebloomin' Heirloom friends,

It's time to warm up your ground with Wallo' Waters or tunnels. We have the tomatoes growing;
they will be ready for early plantings (FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T USE THEIR SEED STARTING SKILLS).
We will be selling tomato plants on March 28, 2009 at 8103 Old Bingham Hwy. in West Jordan-From 9 AM-7 PM
We have more varieties this year. It's best for you to look up any that are unfamiliar on the web.
For us to send an email with all these pictures would take a lot of space.
You may make pre-orders by e-mail to be assured of having your favorite varieties. We will have
them ready for you to pick up on the 28th.

Heirloom are good for collecting seeds and have some good tasting ones BUT for current use I would still use modern seeds that have been bred to be resistant to diseases, last longer, etc. There are some great tasting modern plants without the problems.

I am glad you let them know - some folks really like Heirloom seeds. I was just pointing out the difference between modern seeds. Heirloom are great to have for an emergency because you can collect the seeds and use them to plant.

Wow, I'm moving to West Jordan and starting an heirloom plant business! That's 10? of seed for $4 of plant. Great profit margin.

That actually looks like a pretty good deal if you tend to kill your plants or don't have nice southern sunny windows or don't have a lot of room to set up shelving with lights... funny how we all come from different perspectives... :l0 (14):
