Has anyone ever canned the meat mixes from "Make-A-Mix Cookery"? I would rather can them than freeze them. The recipes would be good to use in getting your year supply like Wendy DeWitt did.

No - but it could be a great idea! I will ask the extension service when I go there Tuesday if it is ok.

Not sure what you mean by meat mixes. Just today showed 2 friends how to can ground beef. Have been canning beef, ground beef, chicken breasts, broth, sausage balls, meatballs, pork loin. Can you explain further what you mean by meat mixes?
