Anyway, I'll bet people's mouths are watering now, eh.
As you can see; there is more than wheat, beans, and milk powder when storing food.

Actually, the Yoder's canned bacon is good on burgers and such. If you're just eating it plain, it needs to be fried again to get crispy.
Russian herring have FANGS!?! :ack2:
This thread has gone wrong on so many levels....:pukey:
Having eaten some for the above stuff... I can honestly say... it ain't goin' in my Food Storage! Blech!

If you're ever in Roswell NM, stop in any of the alien gag gift stores and pick up a can or two of Alien Meat.

This is stomach-wrenchingly funny.
Makes vegetarianism look better and better, IMHO.
Good luck with your new choices for food storage. I have a concern about HOW LONG this "STUFF" will have been on the shelves BEFORE you have bought it though... :001_rolleyes:

Showed the wife the silkworm pupae. She said "Ooh, black olives?" Then looked closer, started gagging, running for the sink and calling me names.

Okay, I'm grossed out! However, in one of my favorite survivalist novels, "Alas, Babylon", the people eat armadillo and claim it's quite tasty. I'll take their word for it!

There are some things that will really pack an artery.
I've eaten shark, escargo (snails), etc., but I decided after the reviews to just stick to wheat, beans, and rice etc. instead, even though that diet seems almost as bad. Maybe I'll think about the canned Cheesburger though.:d0 (39):
The duck looks like it might have the smoked flavor; like from ashes or something.
When I was in the Air Force I didn't realize I could eat Armadillo. As I lay in the grass in Texas, for who knows how long, the Armadillos would scurry past my feet as we trained. I could have used a quick snack.
