View Full Version : Powdered Eggs
Does anyone know if powdered eggs can be frozen?
I had to open a no 10 can of the stuff and I know I won't use it much so I thought maybe I can put it in the freezer.
What's the opinion on that?

I don't see why not. I'd re-pack it in a freezer bag and get all the air out and it should be fine.
That's what bothers me about the #10 cans - there's so much! Some of the food I don't worry about - green beans, mushrooms, stuff we use a lot of. But the stuff we don't use too often....that's why I need to order more #2.5 cans of certain things.

My #10 can of eggs says it's good up to a year after opening, btw.

I'd imagine so. I just leave mine in my pantry. :)
