Good price on green beans, but I'm still working on the 7 bushels I dehydrated last summer. I did take advantage of EM's special on dried cheese blend in January by getting a couple of other people to buy some with me to make up the 12 cans.

7 bushels?? Were they from your garden or farmer's market?
One last question...once you dehydrated all those beans, how did you store them?

Our garden. We replant every 3 weeks. They dehydrate down to just a few gallons. I put a lot of them into mayo or jam jars. No problem so far with pests.

That's wonderful! Do you need to pre-cook your beans before dehydrating?
