I have a recipe of Cream of Asparagus Soup that is just divine. I pretty much just translated it to dehydrated equivalents. Not quite as good as my original (which uses cream and real, homemade chicken broth) but a good substitute when you want quick.
Instant Cream of Asparagus Soup
1-1 1/3 C Asparagus powder (about 1 1/2-2 oz dried asparagus, ground into a powder)
2/3 C instant milk
3 tsp chicken bullion granules
1/8 tsp salt
a few dashes of pepper
a pinch of garlic powder
Mix together well. Store in an airtight container.
To make soup:
1/3 C soup mix
1 C boiling water
Pour water over mix, stir well. Let it stand for a while to absorb water. Ready to eat in about 5 minutes.
